About Us
Since 2001, MS Contracting has been providing turnkey remote workforce accommodation and heavy plant hire to mining, construction, and infrastructure projects across the Northern Territory. From our base in Pinelands, Darwin, we’ve built a reputation for reliability, local expertise, and getting the job done in some of Australia’s most challenging environments.
Everything we do is local. Our people, our suppliers, and our equipment are all based in the Territory. That means faster mobilisation, lower costs, and a team that understands the unique demands of working in the Top End — from wet-season logistics to remote-area operations.

What We Do
From self-contained accommodation camps to a full fleet of heavy equipment — we deliver turnkey solutions for mining, construction, and infrastructure projects across the NT.
Turnkey camps from exploration-scale to 2,000+ beds. Fully self-contained with power, water, ablutions, and communications — ready to move in.
Wet and dry hire of dozers (D6–D10), excavators (13–45T), graders, loaders, rollers, and specialised attachments. One of the Top End's largest fleets.
Bulk earthworks, road construction, site preparation, and land clearing. We build and seal access roads for year-round wet-season operation.
Full-service camp operations including registered commercial kitchens, boarding house management, housekeeping, and maintenance.
Mobile concrete batching plants deployed on-site with agitator trucks. Consistent supply for remote pours where commercial ready-mix isn't an option.
Articulated dump trucks, water carts, tippers, and service vehicles with HIAB cranes. We move material and mobilise equipment across the Territory.

Everything you need to know about working with MS Contracting.
We service the entire Northern Territory, from the greater Darwin region to remote mine sites and construction projects across the Top End and Central Australia. Our base in Pinelands gives us fast access to Darwin Port and major highways.
Dry hire means you get the equipment only — you supply the operator. Wet hire includes the machine plus an experienced MS Contracting operator. We offer both options across our full fleet.
We supply camps ranging from small exploration-scale setups (20–50 beds) right up to large mine-site camps for 2,000+ workers. All camps are fully self-contained with power, water, ablutions, kitchen, and communications.
Mobilisation times depend on the project scope and location, but our local NT base and large equipment fleet mean we can respond faster than interstate operators. We’ve been doing rapid mobilisations across the Territory for over 25 years.
Yes — 100%. MS Contracting has been Darwin-based since 2001. All our employees and the vast majority of our suppliers are Territory locals. Supporting the local economy is a core part of how we operate.
